At the end of your turn, you can hold a maximum of 12 country cards and 4 plot cards in your hand. You can exceed this limit during your turn. Place the square period point markers on the corresponding squares at the bottom right of the table. These markers are divided into three groups for the three periods (1648, 1680 and 1714).
